I wish there was more we could do for our vets. God knows our country does not do enough for them. Speaking as someone who has family in the military and a son that wants to join, I do worry about what happens to them when they do come home. It is bad enough that we have to worry about them while they are gone, but to have them come home to no job, no insurance, not even a thank you for your service from most of us is just WRONG! We need to treat them as the fighting warriors they are and show some respect for what they have done for us, past and present. I think as a nation we seem to forget that. I love the saying, ‘ if you can’t stand behind our military, please feel free to stand in front of them’!!!!!
